Andy Jackson - District 2 Councilmember

Councilman Andy Jackson was appointed in September 2024 to fulfill the remaining term of the vacant District 2 seat until November 2025 were he ran and was elected to serve a full 4-year term.

He has been a lifetime resident of Roanoke Rapids and a 1981 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School. Councilman Jackson attended East Carolina University, majoring in Industrial Technology. He also attended Wilson Community College to obtain his Basic Law Enforcement Training.

Councilman Jackson is a retired Deputy Police Chief from the Roanoke Rapids Police Department and currently is a supervisor with Lowes Home Improvement.
