Basic Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- 21 years of age
- NC State certified police officer or eligible to attend Basic Law Enforcement Training
- High School Diploma or GED
- No DWI conviction- No criminal background
- Good moral character
- NC State Mandated Background investigation
- Criminal history check
- Driving history check
- Oral interview
- Drug testing
- Physical and Psychological Exams
- Entry Level Officers starting salary $34,779 a year
